  MBDA tames the paper tiger

Weapon Systems produce a vast amount of paper and electronic records and methods have to be employed to store all of this information for the entire life of the weapon system and even longer. What's more it is desirable that it should be possible to retrieve this information quickly and efficiently.

Crusader's laserfiche system has been performing this task for the last ten years and has gained an excellent reputation in the organization for it's efficiency. However the sytem needed to be brought up to date and there was also a problem that access to information across relatively low bandwidth was slow.

Crusader solved these problems by updating and migrating all the older data to laserfiche 7.2. At the same time Crusader supplied a web browser based solution for all retrieval only needs. This has cut the cost of maintaining software on hundreds of PCs and it also optimizes the use of the relatively low bandwidth.
